Groceries On The Go

Order your groceries online for easy pick-up at our climate controlled lockers.

Our high-impact, low-footprint climate controlled smart lockers offer an efficient, safe, and reliable solution to food insecurity, providing 24 hour access to fresh, nutritious food. Launched in 2022 with pilot funding through Councilmember Dave Morell and the Pierce County Council, this innovative program began in rural Pierce County, addressing the needs of rural food and transportation deserts. Through funding awarded by Congresswoman Kim Schrier and Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, the GoodRoots Locker Network will expand across Pierce County to 13 total locations.

These self-service lockers bridge gaps in disparity, offering convenience and dignity to families in remote areas who face barriers to accessing traditional food banks. By leveraging technology, we’re creating a continuous, sustainable source of fresh food for vulnerable populations.
