Harvest donation arrives at Good Roots...
Huge thanks to North Tapps Middle School and the Dieringer Sharing Garden — stewarded by our amazing friends and Pierce County Master Gardeners, Michelle and Kim!
The first harvest donation arrived at GoodRoots Market and WOW — it was absolutely stunning. Bright lettuce, summer squash, edible flowers like nasturtiums, sweet peas, crisp broccoli, and the berries are being frozen so the kids can enjoy them at lunch next school year.
What a beautiful project — connecting youth, education, and food in the most meaningful way. Huge thanks to everyone who make this garden flourish!
